Emergency security maintenance to address CVE-2026-99999
MaintenanceWe are performing emergency maintenance across all host servers to address a critical KVM guest-escape vulnerability, CVE-2026-99999.
This maintenance requires rebooting the physical hosts. VPS instances will be paused during their host’s reboot, and some VPS instances may also restart. Please allow approximately 15-20 minutes of interruption. Most pauses last around 6-7 minutes, but these are estimates; some interruptions may take longer.
We would normally perform this work without interruption, but completing that process across all hosts would take approximately two weeks. Given the severity of this vulnerability, we are prioritizing immediate patching rather than migrating VPS instances before each host reboot. The urgency also prevents us from scheduling maintenance windows in advance.
We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your understanding as we work to protect your services.
Maintenance window start: Thursday, October 15, 19:00 PST
Maintenance window end: Sunday, October 18, 23:00 PST
