Virtual instances - Vancouver, Canada Vancouver packet loss

At 10:42 PST our monitoring reported heavy packet loss at our Vancouver location. Upon investigation we determined that the issue is within our upstream carrier. We have escalated the issue upstream and are awaiting for an update.

11:22 PST our upstream provider confirmed a large scale DDoS attack, directed at one of their clients. They are working on a mitigation strategy.

11:41 PST attack has been mitigated, services are back to normal.
