At 14:51 PST our monitoring system reported packet loss to some U.S. destinations within our DC9 location.
Upon initial investigation we have determined that the issue is caused by a transit link between China Telecom and Telia ISP. We have immediately escalated this issue to China Telecom.
At 16:11 PST we have switched to our backup provider for all US and EU bound connectivity and this has completely resolved the issue.
Once China Telecom fixes their connectivity issues we will revert this change back.
Since there are no service affecting issues, we will close this issue for now.
